Important Notice - VIPER BBS to ALFRED BBS 

Migrating from VIPER BBS to ALFRED BBS 26 will be possible with the ALFRED Upgrade Utility including in the beta release starting in a later release.  

ALFRED BBS 26 will discontinue support for some features and functions that exist in VIPER BBS including v10 which include:

-PPP Connections No Longer Supported
-Dialup Connections No Longer Supported
-The VIPER BBS v10 Web Server will no longer be supported or included. 
-The Windows Connection Client including Customized Connector will no longer work with ALFRED BBS 26.
-Firewall Settings will no longer be valid.  ALFRED BBS 26 will not utilize the same ports as VIPER BBS did. 
-DOS and OS/2 Installations for Legacy Systems will no longer be supported. 
-DOS Versions of VIPER BBS will support migrating Users, Messages, and Most Settings to ALFRED BBS 26.
-The previous Newsgroup Host in VIPER v10 will no longer be supported or included.
