VIPER BBS Software for DOS originally launched in September of 1994, followed by a Windows Version in 2001, before the final update in 2008. Another developer briefly updated it in 2012 to what became the final release. At it's peak, around 5,000 sysops called VIPER BBS Software their own. Introducing ALFRED BBS Software, a modern, updated version of VIPER BBS from the original developer.
ALFRED BBS 26 will be backed by our public forums, and 2 years of guaranteed updates all which will be accessible via our Auto Update Client and Support BBS and Website Portal.
ALFRED BBS 26 will incorporate support for installation on any platform, owned or hosted, PC, Mac, Linux, x86, Arm, anything, anywhere can run a BBS powered by ALFRED BBS 26.
Making something modern doesn't mean forgetting it's origins. ALFRED BBS 26 will support classic keyboard interface input in addition to it's point and click interface.
